George Skythos
The journey of thought

George Skythos began painting by studying drawing and color in private painting workshops and the painting workshop of municipality of Athens, while studying contemporary masters of painting.

   He got his diploma from the School Of Fine Arts in Athens (1993-1999), where he attended N.Kessanlis painting workshop.

    From November 29^th 2004 to February 2^nd 2005 he attended “Notes from the 60s”-courses held in Hellenic American Union- with M.Stefanidis(art critic and curator of  the National Gallery), G.Aristinos(theorist of literature and prose writer) and M.Babousis (photographer, architect and professor in the School of Fine Arts).

  George Skythos  was awarded in Holland as one of the Top Ten Artists in Europe in 2006.
