Madeleine Ruth
Madeleine Ruth is an abstract painter whose paintings reflect an inner connection to nature. She believes art heals, unites and reminds us, both visually and mentally, how connected we are to each other. Art has always been a passion of Madeleine’s her entire life. However, about 5 years ago while living abroad in Shanghai, Madeleine began to feel drawn to abstract art and she hasn’t stopped painting since.
Madeleine’s creative process sometimes involves adding to a painting months later by incorporating new colors or designs. Or going back and forth on a canvas for weeks to try figure out what she wants to convey. She experiments with colors, brushes and tools, creating unique textures, moods, and tones within her art. Most of her paintings are done in acrylic, oil, or a mixture of the two.
