The story behind the jewel..

“Perforated Landscapes”   Mixed Media Sculptures /Statement Jewelry 
Laces save memories, celebrating tradition and history.They always remind me good old days from my childhood, when my beloved grandmother sitting around and knitting for a couple of  hours…She made brilliant motifs with love and passion.She usually used lace ornaments  to decorate  the Christmas table. 
Unquestionably, these masterpieces are an heirloom from her.
Further discussed, lace is utterly feminine, reflecting elegance and beauty. Soon enough I started wondering if these pieces could ever be part of a woman body, performing a sculptural jewel that keeps memories from time to eternity.
In “Perforated landscapes” collection, lace is used as an innovative structural element in modern urban society. By combining the industrial look of cement material mixed with resins, laces convey a surreal landform. It might looks like an assemblage of patterns, providing a distinctive wearable piece of art.

Art is my passion and spirit.

My background in  architecture, combined with a keen interest on various aspects of design, forms and materials made me wonder how design concepts  translate into creative solutions.

Soon enough, I found myself, being fascinated by building materials, that no longer can be used, found at the construction site environment.

The idea of breathing new life into old objects through experimentation inspires me. The body of my mixed media artworks encapsulates recycling and reuses construction and deconstruction.

My collections consist of wall art assemblages, installations and handmade architecture jewelry.

There are no rules in my art; there are only materials, textures, objects and the inspiration behind them.
