Art Frak
Toronto based surrealist photo illustrator, Art Frak, creates commentary by repositioning the context of the female form through its juxtaposition against themes of violence, emotions, sexuality, and culture. A career illustrator, for more than 15 years, with two separate degrees in both science and art, his continuing interests had led him to over 40 countries, experiencing the world with all its perspectives, which he then draws upon to reframe and reshape our wobbly reality in his art.
Art Frak's foray into using photography as a medium, to pixel push and illustrate with, has allowed him to effectively craft images that primes us to question preconceived notions, daring us to look underneath that which we think is the norm.
