Life has been very good to me.I have been able to secure a financially comfortable situation via a successful career in aviation. I have been piloting many types of aircraft and been given the opportunity to visit so many unique cities and regions worldwide.In my family life,I have been blessed with a loving and comprehensive wife and with 2 children that have grown up as responsible adults and that have found their place in society and profession. This has given me the opportunity to develop a growing interest in all disciplines of art and to discover new opportunities for learning and creating.During many years I have attended the courses in the art academy,and I have obtained my final degree in “Monumental Art”. I thank my teachers for their positive inputs and for their encouragements during my research and development. A specialword of gratitude to the Belgian sculptor Patrick CROMBE who has been my mentor and beacon for so many years in a way that he has become a friend for life.I live on the country side, near Brussels. Belgiumis a small but complex country, not always appreciated or understood.However, it sits in the center of Western Europe with fantastic cities as Paris, London, Amsterdam or Berlin within easy reach. This is a privileged situation for every art lover.
