Steven Chayt
Steven Chayt prefers to approach his work by appealing more to thought than appearance. His works are semantic problems for the viewer to consider where he attempts to provoke the beloved "aha" moment. He uses toys and miniature figures as cast members in his works, most of which employ sardonic humour but never a lack of deeper contemplation at their foundations. Rather, these can be considered crystallizations of his encounters with ongoing cultural conversations that he invites viewers to partake in.
