Jamaleddin Toomajnia
Jamaleddin Toomajnia is an Iranian-Turkmen based artist, graduated painting from Tehran University and now the Ph.D. candidate of History of Art at İstanbul Technical University. He worked as a search expert in the Academy of Art in Iran for five years at the same time he had an atelier in Tehran. He paints and researches about folkloric and traditional arts in Turkmen tribes because he belongs to these people. After immigrating to Turkey in 2012 for continuing his education he continued his painting in his home-atelier and represent his works at online galleries such as Saatchi. After a while, he began to contribute to group exhibitions in Turkey and collaborate with the Appolon Art gallery in Istanbul.
